My New Love

I haven't blogged much about dancing lately ... not sure why since I've been doing so much of it. And blues is still my favorite. Blues swept me off my feet back in November at the Emerald City Blues Festival. It was love at first sight and it's only gotten better as time has gone on. <3

But Jeremy easily talked me into taking tango lessones with him.  We compleated our first tango series last Thursday, and he took me to The Buenos Aires Grill to celebrate!  We ordered one of the specials -- a mixed grill that was supposed to be served Argentine style, and a bottle of Malbec. I was expecting some good Argentine steak. I wasn't expecting an enormous mountain of meat! Wow, we did the best we could, but we ended up needing a doggy bag and my fridge is now full!

And while the food was good, it wasn't even the best part! They had dancers tango dancing around the restaurant between the tables and even on the counters. Very fun to watch. Except, watching dancing is never enough for me -- so really it was just motivation to get better so that I can *do* that! And my desire to go to Argentina has been resurrected!!  Of course I haven't forgotten that, in addition to good wine and good dancing, they have amazing crack climbing there too... I am still a climber first and foremost! :)
